This year, Jimmie carted his "Tow Mater" miata up to High Plains raceway, and took the whole family! Pete Sharum, Pieter Waters and Eric Waters were also here. What a fantastic day, and blast to the past! During the day, the race went largely uneventful. After the race shut down, we discovered brakes which were almost gone (Jimmie had to hunt down new front pads from other teams.) We also discovered the engine would not start due to low compression. Near the end of the night, we wound up pull starting the miata and miraculously, pull starting got the car running! Though I wasn't present for the next day (Sunday), the car did finish the race in 6th place.
