Today was a bit of a wayback day for James and Mike. In the morning, we dropped Hazel off at the University of Lincoln, then continued our drive destined to Illinois. Along the way, we stopped to eat lunch at the Lewis and Clark national park on the Iowa / Nebraska state line. This very park, we had lunch at a few epic trips ago. James rescued a bird which had fallen out of it's nest, and we had a T-bone steak dinner at a rest stop, just barely avoiding what looked to be a large afternoon thunderstorm.
